Adult Classes
Intro to Spolin Method (ADULT)
Ages 18+
Teacher: Chris Friesen
March-April (8 weeks)
Saturdays 1-3

$125 per student
Explore the fundamentals of Viola Spolin's Theatre Games!
In this class you will learn by playing games and taking part in a non-judgemental evaluation process with your fellow players. You will learn to be present, create an environment, and communicate with the audience and fellow actors.
This unique, non-authoritarian approach not only teaches acting and improvisation, but improves focus, helps regulate the nervous system, and increases confidence and freedom in any situation.
Prepare to be challenged, but to also have possibly the most fun you've ever had in an acting class!
Absolutely no previous experience necessary. This class is a prerequisite for Spolin for Returning Players.
Spolin for Returning Players (ADULT)
Ages 18+
Teacher: Chris Friesen
May-June (8 weeks)
Saturdays 1-3
Location: Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain (CCFM)
$125 per student
Go deeper into the work of Viola Spolin. Explore emotion, character, the development of scene material, non-directional blocking, acting with the whole body, and more. This is an ongoing class where the content of the class will be determined by the makeup of the class and their needs. It can be taken multiple times and will be different each time. This class will conclude with a final performance for invited guests. Intro to Spolin Method is a prerequisite for this class.
Youth Classes
Intro to Spolin Method (TEEN)
Ages 12-17

Payments and cancellations
Payment in full is required to book your spot in the class and is non-refundable if you cannot take the class. If a class has to be cancelled for any reason you will receive a full refund.
Due to booking constraints if the class does not meet the minimum number of students one month before the start date it will have to be cancelled, so please sign up early!
